THREE STOOGES
- "THREE CHUMPS", 1937, 20 min.
Moe and Curly, working as hired hands on a ranch, meet Larry
who is making a delivery of cattle feed. When Larry accidentally
dumps his load on Moe's car the rumpus ensues. Moe tosses
a pitch fork at Larry, missing him and striking Curly in the
rear end where the fork becomes lodged. Larry suggests they
blast. Moe, however, favors attaching a plow horse and yanking
the implement out. Both plans are scrapped when Curly dies.

HOGAN'S HEROES
- Comedy, 30 min.
The script writers are trying a new technique in an effort to
jump-start the show's ratings. Early in the show
Shultz is accidentally blown to bits when he steps on a mine.
The plot's twist, however, occurs when, later in the half hour,
Shultz is alive again as if nothing had happened. Even the
other actors have apparent problems going on with the script at the
point when it is noticed that Shultz has been resurrected.
Expressions of incredulity by
Bob Crane, in particular, are rich and will surely become classic
scenes for die-hard Heroes followers.
