6AM	NEWHART - Comedy, 30 min. Larry and Daryl contemplate torching the Stratford Inn to repay the Loudons for their lack of sponsorship of their other brother Daryl's participation in the recent Walk for the Mind-Numb.

7:30	MY THREE SONS - Comedy, 30 min. Bub schools the Douglas kids in the fine art of the television situation comedy as he forces them to endure hour after hour of I Love Lucy reruns.

10AM	MR. ED - Comedy, 30 min. Ed's digestive system goes haywire again at 2AM for the third time in as many days. An increasingly impatient Wilbur vows to find the quickest toll-free road to the glue factory.

	AFTERNOON

2:30	HAWAII FIVE-0 - Drama, 1 hr. Danno and Chin misunderstand Steve's radioed instructions regarding the whereabouts of an escaped felon and end up waiting in a Krispy Kreme donut shop half the night for backups to arrive.

	EVENING

6PM	HAPPY DAYS - Comedy, 30 min. Fonzie runs over a cat with his motorcycle and goes into a week-long stupor, unable to get over the event. Richie and Potsie all but dangle half-naked cheerleaders in Fonzie's face trying to revive their mentor.

8PM	FORREST GUMP - THE TV SHOW - New show, 1 hr. Gump and Lt. Dan are cited for overfishing a protected area of the continental shelf.

Before you even start, I know that there is no simple-minded but witty expression that will ease the pain we are both going to incur shortly because our greed got the best of us out there among those incredibly dense schools of shrimp. Now, there, I've said my peace.

GUMP

You know, Lt. Dan. I named all of my boats Jenny because I loved her. But, I think it's time we renamed at least some of them.

(beat)

What was that Department of Fishery guy's name that wrote us up the other day?

LT. DAN

Frank, I think. Yeah, Frank. Frank Swindle, I believe it was.

(beat)

Hey, Swindle! There ought to be a joke there somewhere, huh Gump?

GUMP

(ignoring Lt. Dan's speculation)

You know, Lt. Dan. I truly believe, for no particular reason, we should name about 10 or 15 of the Jenny's Frank Swindle. What do you think?

LT. DAN

No particular reason!? Gump. You are so deep. I guess stupid is as stupid does, right?

GUMP

Lt. Dan, I think you should leave the witty colloquialisms to yours truly. At least when I say those things nobody can think I must be dumber than I look.
